Camp Apex is a summer camp that fosters youth development through fun-filled activities that focus on four main values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. When combined with illustrative elements, a positive and playful atmosphere is created, perfect for a children’s summer camp.
The Logo
Camp Apex is The Y’s traditional summer camp, so we wanted to create an identity that relates back to The Y’s main logo. This is where the letter separations come in. The various colors in the logo tie directly to each of the camp’s four main values.
The Environment
The exterior of the camp building, signage, and meal packaging use bright colors to entice children and keep the atmosphere of the camp enjoyable, creating a warm environment where all campers are welcomed.
Camp Swag
Every child who enrolls in the Camp Apex experience receives special keepsakes they can use after they finish their time at the summer camp. Items such as a string bag and metal water bottle promote sustainability, a principle that is nurtured on camp grounds.
